A special event was held at the completion ceremony of the grand free cataract surgery conducted by the Sankara Nethralaya Eye Hospital, Chennai under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of the Madras Atomic Power Station- MAPS Kalpakkam. The Director of Madras Atomic Power Station presented certificates of appreciation to 10 nursing students from Sri Sai Community College who participated in this noble initiative. This event not only marked the successful completion of the free cataract surgery program but also highlighted the importance of community service and social responsibility. The students' participation in this event provided them with valuable hands-on experience and exposure to the healthcare industry, enhancing their skills and knowledge in the field of nursing.
Sri Sai Community College in ECR Adayalachery celebrated International Women's Day with great enthusiasm. The event brought together women from the local Self-Help Group (SHG), staff members of CNIMS, and students of the community college. The celebrations included games, dance performances, and a prize distribution ceremony, making it a memorable day for all participants.
Pongal is a significant religious celebration in South India, particularly in Tamil Nadu, marking the beginning of the sun's journey towards the northern hemisphere. CNIMS RESEARCH FOUNDATION celebrated pongal with staffs, volunteers and students of Sai Paramedicals by making pongal, conducting traditional games and distributed gifts and sweets to all. It is a time for rejoicing, reflection, and reconnecting with our roots and our loved ones.
